No Other Will Do by Karen Witemeyer

I was allowed to read this book before the publication date for my honest review.

I loved this book. I generally struggle to read Christian fiction because it comes off as very preachy in my opinion. Karen Witemeyer did an excellent job of adding a strong Christian element without sounding like a sermon.

Her characters are vibrant and flawed. They are not perfect and no one is trying to "fix" the less godly of the group. I enjoyed the relationship that each character had with Christ and and I felt that the author's portrayal of each relationship was different and heartfelt for each character.

I loved the interaction between Emma and Malachi and I liked that they had a backstory which incorporated them both. The fact that their relationship grew from their early teens and into their adulthood seemed very realistic and made their relationship richer and more believable.

I will definitely be purchasing a copy of this book for myself and probably buying a couple copies for a few friends/family members as birthday gifts!!
